Boilermakers Union
The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 92 was established in 1892 to serve the Southern California and Southern Nevada region. Our long history is storied with decades of union pride in jobs well done in every corner of the state. The Boilermakers Union supplies highly trained and skilled craftsman specializing in all areas of oil refining and power generation. Our Apprenticeship program routinely graduates some of the finest Boilermakers who put their heart and soul into their work and it shows.
Local 92 trains and provides highly skilled manpower to you, the Contractor, for your projects related to work in all aspects of: oil refineries, power plants, tanks, pipelines, heavy rigging setting and transport along with many other niche areas of steel erection. Our welders are trained and tested in all applicable welding processes in our newly opened state-of-the-art apprentice and welding school. Our members are OSHA 30 safety trained, drug tested and attend our accredited RSO classes. We expect nothing but the best from our members, who will do their best to ensure full success for your projects.
We speak with a group voice to structure benefits, secure employment and negotiate contracts.
It is our duty to continue the work our forefathers started to establish safe working conditions and protect workers’ rights.
The work performed by the Boilermakers includes building, repairing and maintaining power plants, pipelines, solar plants, oil refineries, tanks, ships, and many other metal-related aspects, usually within the utilities industry.
